The lighter Side of the News...

We think we all need an occasional chuckle to remind us that Republicans have a great sense of humor.  So we present The Lighter Side of the News, just to keep it from becoming too serious...

President Calvin Coolidge deserved his nickname "Silent Cal." He rarely spoke a word that was not absolutely necessary. One evening at a dinner party, a woman attempted to get him to engage in conversation. She told him. "I made a bet that I could get you to say more than two words."

All the president said in reply was "You lose."
